Type specimen: Holotype: LB-025, stored in the Department of Plant Science, University of Tasmania., a leaf (Leaf compound.). Its type locality is Lake Bungarby, which is in a Paleocene terrestrial mudstone in Australia.
Ecology: "photoautotroph"
Distribution: found only at Lake Bungarby
