Type specimen: Holotype: C-524 (the only specimen observed), stored in the Department of Plant Science, University of Tasmania., a leaf (Cuticles). Its type locality is Cethana Dam, which is in an Oligocene lagoonal siltstone/sandstone in Australia.

Distribution: found only at Cethana Dam
