Type specimen: Holotype: N-0005, housed in the Botany Department, University of Tasmania., a leaf (Cuticles). Its type locality is Nerriga Flora, which is in an Eocene/Eocene fluvial-lacustrine siltstone/mudstone in Australia.
Ecology: "photoautotroph"
Distribution: found only at Nerriga Flora
