Type specimen: (BMNH001138A and B, a skeleton. Its type locality is Daohugou (IVPP collection), which is in a Callovian lacustrine - large shale/tuff in the Tiaojishan Formation of China.
Ecology: scansorial insectivore
Distribution: found only at Daohugou (IVPP collection)
