Type specimen: AR-1-4893, a set of postcrania (Nearly complete and articulated shell, and some appendicular elements). Its type locality is Santa Maria Mine, Ariño (AR-1), which is in an Albian mire/swamp coal/mudstone in the Escucha Formation of Spain.

Ecology: planktonic suspension feeder

Distribution: found only at Santa Maria Mine, Ariño (AR-1)
