Type specimen: AaO 2117, INSAP, Rabat, Morocco, a mandible (incomplete right dental). Its type locality is Ahl al Oughlam - general, which is in a Pliocene coastal limestone/conglomerate in Morocco.
Ecology: fossorial insectivore
Distribution: found only at Ahl al Oughlam - general
