Type specimen: MACN-PV 2540, a mandible. Its type locality is Chubut River Valley, Gaiman (Ameghino), which is in a Colhuehuapian terrestrial horizon in the Sarmiento Formation of Argentina.

Distribution: found only at Chubut River Valley, Gaiman (Ameghino)
