Type specimen: Holotype: P.m L. P. # 735, coord. 33.7-117.3., a microspore. Its type locality is Pozo T-137, nivel 720.50-721.75 m., which is in a Maastrichtian/Eocene terrestrial sandstone/claystone in the Cerro Dorotea Formation of Argentina.

Ecology: "photoautotroph"

Distribution: found only at Pozo T-137, nivel 720.50-721.75 m.
