Type specimen: PSS-MAE 629, a mandible (a left dentary fragment preserving a mostly complete m2, the base of the crown of the m3, and roots of only the p1. The jaw is missing the mesial half of the ca). Its type locality is Tsagan Tsonj, which is in a Cenomanian/Santonian terrestrial horizon in the Baynshire Formation of Mongolia.

Ecology: scansorial carnivore-durophage

Distribution: found only at Tsagan Tsonj
