Sister taxa: Leptaena (Septomena) alaskensis, Leptaena (Septomena) juvenilis, Septomena alliku, Septomena crypta, Septomena cryptoides
Type specimen: TUG 42-114, a shell. Its type locality is Paldiski, lowermost Beds Väo Fm., which is in a Lasnamagi marine horizon in the Väo Formation of Estonia.
Ecology: stationary epifaunal suspension feeder
Distribution:
• Ordovician of Estonia (4 collections)
Total: 4 collections each including a single occurrence
