Type specimen: Museum of Cagli RS 2, a shell. Its type locality is Series RS, Stirpeto, which is in a Hauterivian offshore lime mudstone in the Maiolica Formation of Italy.

Ecology: fast-moving nektonic carnivore

Average measurements (in mm): shell diameter 29.0

Distribution:

• Cretaceous of Italy (6 collections), Spain (1)
