Type specimen: NMMNH P-64484, a partial skeleton. Its type locality is NMMNH L-8514, Hunter Wash, which is in a Campanian terrestrial horizon in the Kirtland Formation of New Mexico.
Ecology: ground dwelling herbivore
Distribution: found only at NMMNH L-8514, Hunter Wash
