Type specimen: Bristol Museum Ce17364, a shell. Its type locality is Black Ven, bed 85 nodule, Charmouth, which is in an Obtusum carbonate limestone in the Charmouth Mudstone Formation of the United Kingdom.
Ecology: fast-moving nektonic carnivore
Distribution: found only at Black Ven, bed 85 nodule, Charmouth
