Sister taxon: Bystrowiana permica
Type specimen: IVPP V4014. Its type locality is Huakedaliang, Dayu township, Jiyuan City, which is in a Wuchiapingian terrestrial sandstone/mudstone in the Shangshihezi Formation of China.
Ecology:
Distribution: found only at Huakedaliang, Dayu township, Jiyuan City
