Sister taxon: Hoplitocrioceras gentilii
Type specimen: CPBA 19219, a shell. Its type locality is SH10 - El Salado Sur, which is in a Hauterivian marine siltstone in the Agrio Formation of Argentina.
Ecology: fast-moving nektonic carnivore
Distribution:
• Cretaceous of Argentina (12 collections)
Total: 12 collections each including a single occurrence
