Type specimen: Quievreux 1030, an exoskeleton. Its type locality is Alsace potash field, Anna pit (Quievreux collection), which is in a Rupelian lacustrine - large mudstone/evaporite in France.

Distribution: found only at Alsace potash field, Anna pit (Quievreux collection)
