Type specimen: BP/1/6882, a set of vertebrae (Neural arch of an anterior dorsal vertebra). Its type locality is Sauropod Quarry, farm Spion Kop 932 (BPI), which is in a Hettangian/Sinemurian coarse channel fill siltstone/sandstone in the Elliot Formation of South Africa.
Ecology: ground dwelling herbivore
Distribution: found only at Sauropod Quarry, farm Spion Kop 932 (BPI)
