Type specimen: LIEB-PV 2001, a tooth (upper L molariform (MF?3)). Its type locality is La Barda, Paso del Sapo, which is in a Lutetian fluvial tuff in the Andesitas Huancache Formation of Argentina.

Ecology: scansorial insectivore

Distribution: found only at La Barda, Paso del Sapo
