Type specimen: PE 25565, a test. Its type locality is North end of Orchard Creek Exposure, 1.6 km north of Thebes, which is in a Richmondian shallow subtidal limestone/shale in the Orchard Creek Shale Formation of Illinois.
Ecology: stationary low-level epifaunal suspension feeder
Distribution: found only at North end of Orchard Creek Exposure, 1.6 km north of Thebes
