Sister taxa: Electribius balticus, Electribius friederichi, Electribius gorskii, Electribius oligocenicus, Electribius procerus

Type specimen: ZMNH M6841, an exoskeleton. Its type locality is Rio Salado, Totolapa, Mexican amber (ZMNH coll.), which is in a Miocene terrestrial amber in Mexico.

Distribution: found only at Rio Salado, Totolapa, Mexican amber (ZMNH coll.)
