Type specimen: IPS60464, a skull. Its type locality is Abocador de Can Mata C8-A4, which is in a Miocene alluvial fan mudstone in Spain.
Ecology: fossorial insectivore
Distribution: found only at Abocador de Can Mata C8-A4
