Type specimen: HUE-04498, a skull (Complete skull and right lower jaw). Its type locality is Lo Hueco, Fuentes (G1), which is in a Campanian/Maastrichtian wet floodplain mudstone/sandstone in the Villalba de la Sierra Formation of Spain.
