Type specimen: CNU-NEUNN2009003, a hindwing. Its type locality is Daohugou (CNU 2009 collection), which is in a Callovian/Oxfordian lacustrine - large shale in the Daohugou Formation of China.

Distribution: found only at Daohugou (CNU 2009 collection)
