Sister taxa: Tannuolina fonini, Tannuolina pavlovi, Tannuolina zhangwentangi

Type specimen: NRMX 5267, a partial shell (mitral sclerite). Its type locality is TZ-22, which is in an Atdabanian reef, buildup or bioherm limestone in the Amouslek Formation of Morocco.

Ecology: facultatively mobile epifaunal suspension feeder

Distribution: found only at TZ-22
