Sister taxa: Strephocladus mouralsensis, Strephocladus permianus, Strephocladus subtilis
Type specimen: Ld LAP 313, a wing. Its type locality is F19, Arièges, Lodève Basin, which is in a Kungurian pond claystone in the Salagou Formation of France.
Ecology:
Distribution: found only at F19, Arièges, Lodève Basin
