Type specimen: UALVP 622, a mandible (Incomplete left dentary containing p4, m1–3). Its type locality is Trochu (KUA-1), which is in a Lancian terrestrial claystone/siltstone in the Scollard Formation of Canada.

Distribution:

• Cretaceous of Canada (5: Alberta, Saskatchewan collections), United States (5: Montana, North Dakota, Wyoming)
