Sister taxa: Didymoconus colgatei, Didymoconus rostrata
Type specimen: PIN, no. 478/395, a mandible (Fragment of the left lower jaw ramus with P4–M2). Its type locality is Chelkar-Teniz, which is in an Oligocene terrestrial horizon in the Chelkarnura Formation of Kazakhstan.
Ecology: scansorial insectivore
Distribution: found only at Chelkar-Teniz
