Type specimen: IVIC-P-2867, a limb element (right tibia). Its type locality is road cut northwest of La Grita, which is in a Hettangian terrestrial siltstone in the La Quinta Formation of Venezuela.
Ecology: ground dwelling carnivore
Distribution: found only at road cut northwest of La Grita
