Sister taxon: Chungchienia sichuanica
Type specimen: IVPP V10805, a set of teeth. Its type locality is 300 m southwest of Xiaowan village, which is in an Eocene terrestrial horizon in the Lushi Formation of China.
Ecology: ground dwelling herbivore
Distribution: found only at 300 m southwest of Xiaowan village
