Type specimen: F:AM 65909, a mandible (right dentary with i1, p4, m2–m3). Its type locality is Skull Ridge, which is in a Barstovian terrestrial horizon in the Tesuque Formation of New Mexico.

Ecology: ground dwelling herbivore

Distribution: found only at Skull Ridge
