Sister taxa: Batodonoides powayensis, Batodonoides vanhouteni
Type specimen: LACM 153709, a tooth (lower m2). Its type locality is Simi Valley Landfill, which is in a Duchesnean terrestrial horizon in the Sespe Formation of California.
Ecology: scansorial insectivore
Distribution: found only at Simi Valley Landfill
