Type specimen: IVPP V10806, a maxilla (Maxillae). Its type locality is Dong Huangzhuang, which is in an Eocene terrestrial mudstone/sandstone in the Huangzhuang Formation of China.

Ecology: ground dwelling herbivore

Distribution: found only at Dong Huangzhuang
