Type specimen: IVPP V13597, a partial skeleton (Upper and lower jaws). Its type locality is IVPP Loc. DH 199903, which is in a Miocene terrestrial horizon in the Tiejianggou Formation of China.

Ecology: ground dwelling herbivore-insectivore

Distribution:

• Miocene of China (2 collections)
