Type specimen: USNM 423734, a shell. Its type locality is USGS Mesozoic 23062, Five Mile Creek, which is in a Cenomanian marine shale in the Greenhorn Formation of Montana.

Ecology: fast-moving nektonic carnivore

Distribution: found only at USGS Mesozoic 23062, Five Mile Creek
