Type specimen: USNM 423766, a shell. Its type locality is USGS Mesozoic D4462, Black Hills, which is in a Cenomanian marine siliciclastic in the Greenhorn Formation of Wyoming.
Ecology: fast-moving nektonic carnivore
Distribution:
• Cretaceous of United States (2: Montana, Wyoming collections)
Total: 2 collections each including a single occurrence
