Type specimen: SMF Be 2395, an exoskeleton. Its type locality is Dominican amber (Senckenberg SMF collection), which is in a Burdigalian/Langhian terrestrial amber in the Dominican Republic.

Distribution: found only at Dominican amber (Senckenberg SMF collection)
