Sister taxon: Zhizhu jeholensis
Type specimen: CNU-SPI-NN2002030, an exoskeleton. Its type locality is Daohugou (CNU 2002 collection), which is in a Callovian/Oxfordian lacustrine - large shale in the Daohugou Formation of China.
