Sister taxa: Manuherikia lacustrina, Manuherikia minuta

Type specimen: NMNZ S.42878, a limb element (right humerus). Its type locality is Croc Site L1, Mata Creek, H41/f84, which is in an Altonian lacustrine - large sandstone/siltstone in the Bannockburn Formation of New Zealand.

Ecology: volant herbivore

Distribution:

• Miocene of New Zealand (3 collections)

Total: 3 collections each including a single occurrence
