Type specimen: NMNZ S.53324, a limb element (Right femur). Its type locality is Site FF1 or HH0, Manuherikia River, H41/f059, which is in an Altonian lacustrine - large claystone in the Bannockburn Formation of New Zealand.

Ecology: ground dwelling carnivore

Distribution:
