Type specimen: CIP-FCG-CBP-74, a partial skeleton. Its type locality is Vereda Llanitos, which is in a Barremian/Aptian marine shale/limestone in the Paja Formation of Colombia.
Ecology: nektonic carnivore
Distribution: found only at Vereda Llanitos
