Type specimen: PVL 4187, a partial skeleton (Nearly complete skull lacking right I1–3 and crown of right and left M1; almost complete jaw lacking left p1 and crowns of right p2 and m1; partially preserved ). Its type locality is Estancia Pampa Grande, which is in a Lutetian terrestrial mudstone/sandstone in the Lumbrera Formation of Argentina.

Ecology: scansorial carnivore

Distribution: found only at Estancia Pampa Grande
