Type specimen: MLP 78-V-6-5, a skull. Its type locality is Estancia Pampa Grande, between rivers Toro and Cachi, which is in a Lutetian terrestrial horizon in the Lumbrera Formation of Argentina.
Ecology: scansorial herbivore
Distribution:
• Eocene of Argentina (4 collections)
Total: 4 collections each including a single occurrence
