Type specimen: PVL 5853, a skull. Its type locality is El Simbolar (upper Lumbrera), which is in an Eocene lacustrine mudstone/siltstone in the Lumbrera Formation of Argentina.

Ecology: scansorial herbivore

Distribution: found only at El Simbolar (upper Lumbrera)
