Type specimen: PIN, no. 4516/479, a tooth (Right M2). Its type locality is Altynshokysu (bone bed I), which is in an Oligocene terrestrial siltstone/claystone in the Aral Formation of Kazakhstan.
Ecology: ground dwelling herbivore
Distribution: found only at Altynshokysu (bone bed I)
