Type specimen: IAUU, no. ALT 115, a mandible. Its type locality is Altynshokysu (bone bed II), which is in an Oligocene terrestrial claystone in the Aral Formation of Kazakhstan.
Ecology: ground dwelling herbivore-insectivore
Distribution: found only at Altynshokysu (bone bed II)
