Type specimen: PIUZ, ALT no. 304, a tooth (Left M2). Its type locality is Altynshokysu (bone bed II), which is in an Oligocene terrestrial claystone in the Aral Formation of Kazakhstan.

Ecology: fossorial insectivore

Distribution: found only at Altynshokysu (bone bed II)
