Type specimen: PIN, no. 4516/6,, a mandible. Its type locality is Altynshokysu (bone bed IV), which is in an Oligocene terrestrial claystone in the Aral Formation of Kazakhstan.

Ecology: ground dwelling omnivore

Distribution: found only at Altynshokysu (bone bed IV)
