Type specimen: ZPAL MgR III/17, a skull (skull and lower jaw). Its type locality is Khermin Tsav, northern slope [RMPE], which is in a Campanian/Campanian eolian sandstone/conglomerate in the Baruungoyot Formation of Mongolia.

Ecology: herbivore

Distribution: found only at Khermin Tsav, northern slope [RMPE]
