Sister taxon: Saurillodon proraformis
Type specimen: BMNH R12650, a mandible (right dentary). Its type locality is Kirtlington 3p (Mammal Bed), which is in a Bathonian mire/swamp marl in the Forest Marble Formation of the United Kingdom.
Ecology:
Distribution: found only at Kirtlington 3p (Mammal Bed)
