Type specimen: ANSP 13535, a shell. Its type locality is Prairie Bluff (Morton collection), which is in a Maastrichtian carbonate chalk in the Prairie Bluff Formation of Alabama.

Ecology: epifaunal omnivore-grazer

Distribution: found only at Prairie Bluff (Morton collection)
